Mi crew question
Anyone know how to make my iPhone sync MiCrew calendar with my google calendar app? It will sync with the apple calendar but the apple cakes sucks and my wife and I are trying to share our calendars on google calendar and the only thing I can’t get to work right is my crew

Well, you’re pretty much out of luck. There used to be a method where you could save your icalendar as an .ics file if I remember correctly, using Firefox with an icrewmax add on extension. Icrewmax stopped supporting versions newer than 57 of FF browser. I suppose you could download the old version 57 if you can and then use the icrewmax add on extension but that’s a lot of trouble to go through. There is one way to that your wife can see your schedule the exact same as MiCrew. It’s not condoned by me. 🤓
There used to be a way you could do this in your iCloud account but Apple has disabled the feature.

Google calendar is my primary calendar. To show micrew info on my wife’s calendar (she uses iPhone calendar), I sync MiCrew, which puts all the events into my iphone’s Calendar. Then I go through each event (in the Calendar app) and change the calendar that the rotations are assigned to from the default “micrew” to my google calendar, which is shared with my iPhone. So basically my iPhone calendar is just a conduit to get flying events onto my google calendar. Just takes a couple minutes once a month, and the events instantly appear on my Google Calendar.
Then my wife can just display my google calendar, and voila, she can see my flying schedule.
Not very efficient for lots of one-day events (reserve/vacation), but works well for a line of 3-6 rotations.
Not sure that fully meets your needs, but hope it helps.

I’m guessing you have an Android phone? If that’s the case you can do it but it won’t work the other way around. There’s a way with an iPhone if you download the google calendar to use the google calendar as a viewer by linking it to your iCloud account. If you have an iPhone and are able to do what your saying, then mo’ power to ya!

Just download RosterBuster from the app store. Subscribe to your calendar once you login. Share the link with all your friends and family you want. Whenever there is an update to your schedule just refresh your calendar in RosterBuster and it will automatically update all your friends and families calendars. This will work in both iCal and Google Calendar.

It’s an iCloud calendar. Just share it. Easy.
Turn on iCloud calendar in the iPhone iCloud settings. In the google calendar app settings turn on iCloud calendars. In your iPhones calendar app share the MiCrew calendar with whomever.
Done.
Then cuss time zone support display issues if you are a commuter.
