Actually I have had the opportunity to have a personal chat with the CEO at Delta. My chat came after I sent him a signed personal letter expressing my feelings concerning his planned furlough of pilots. I wonder how many Delta haters posting on here would send their posts in a signed letter to the CEO?
P.S. I got to have a sidebar with the VP of flight ops so it was two chats for the price of one letter!

Anyway most people complain like it's a sport and are looking for team effort. Conversely the cheerleaders want a pep rally. None of it really matters, let's just move on to more chicken puns.

And the furloughs stopped the next day. Thank God your voice was heard and the ceo spoke to you personally.

I mean- *looks around*- chicken puns right? I'm not belly aching, just here for the dad jokes, as I've said in the past.

Separate discussion: What I've noticed (after reading some poignant remarks from psychologists on it discussing different types of workers) is "positive people" NEED everyone around them to be positive with them or you get cast out. For a guy like me that tries to be moderate, angry when I should be/happy when I should be, and not let history try to color the present, only to inform, its bizarre watching you guys snap. Positive people do no better or worse than negative people or neutral people. There's been lots of studies on it to investigate what "power of positivity" is and if it's real. Spoiler, it's just a book.
In any case, I find my laugh (or whatever that means) whenever I derail a discussion on here that bursts into jokes. I honestly feel like you all take this strangely seriously but you snap out of it when someone tells the right joke, and I wanna be that guy.
A lot of you make good points, sailing fun makes lots of them, but the dogma and characterizations on here are too much. But I'm not saying anything that wasn't first said by smart people on here. Management is the enemy, not fellow pilots, and even management aren't evil hell spawn. That's SWAP delays into NYC. We've got some section 6 stuff to consider, probably not soon but it'll happen, just hope everyone knows I'm here to participate and be a part of a great future. I think that is probably what 95% of us are here for.
