I'd love to see the union release these table positions JG speaks of in his email so that the pilot group can see what the company thinks they are worth....especially the company's section 23 position like mentioned in the Negotiators Notepad.

JG probably should have read the NC memo before writing his... just the section 23 alone shows what they really think of us.

Why not just show us the opener?

Instead of non productive correcting the inaccuracies.

I thought there was "NDA" clauses?

The company is just delaying this.

Sounds like an ALPA play book.

We should take this delay and hire professional negotiators.

I never said "evil". Western companies are amoral, there's a huge difference.

No, I don't own Apple or Microsoft products, or use Google, and haven't for years (with the exception of a PC Microsoft operating system...too old to bother with Linux).

If the best the company can come up with is to borrow money and service debt for billion dollar stock buybacks to short-term boost stock prices, I'd say the union is perfectly justified using that cash-spent-on-buybacks as a decent yardstick for contract improvements.

IMHO. This looks to be a long, protracted negotiation. That's fine.

You must be very relieved to read some words from him on this.

I'm sorry if I missed the point of your post. What was it?

Really since when?

Glad I was wrong!

They are ALPA labor attorneys. They assist with all the ALPA pilot groups when asked.

The last time we used outside negotiators was C2K which met with mixed reviews as far as their performance. Although C2K is considered the bell cow for us, it also only had a low 60’s pass rate pro negotiators and all.
