Wonder what we'll do with the airframes for the next three months.

Everyone will be 23k’d. So I expect a lot of equipment subs/swaps as we move to fill up those 350’s to Europe, and then the 767’s between ATL and MCO.

I don’t agree. I’m still planning on taking my wife out for a nice steak dinner and cocktails. Maybe get an AirBnB by the coast or up in the mountains. I think it’ll be really nice.

I agree it’s not great but how much investment does Delta have directly tied to the Chinese market? I feel like the JVs and codeshares have minimized this risk. I think United would be hurt more than we are. Now if this seriously spreads globally then we are in for a rough year.

It's definitely a hit for UAL. For us, I think a lot depends on who redeploys what on TATL. If UAL dumps a lot onto that, it could affect our revenues. But I don't think they will be able to do that to the extent they might want, on such short notice. We will now be able to pull 7ERs off of TATL and put them on domestic, which was the plan all along, just not this soon. Our summer staffing crisis probably just went down a few notches. I don't think this virus thing is going away by spring either, probably not until late summer at the earliest. It's not a good development, but we are well positioned.

Good news.
I’d imagine they’re having a difficult time finding enough FA’s who want to be in a metal tube for 12 hours with China passengers right now.
It might be a panic, but at some point, perception becomes reality.

Well, I didn't say it would be minimal, I certainly hope it's minimal, but we have a lot of tech people on corporate contracts that do a lot of China flying, who connect over our domestic network. Bottom line is nobody knows yet.
