JFK/LGA are legitimately "co-terminals" with a relatively low cost and quick hop inbetween no matter what anyone says. Done it literally hundreds of times and never an issue even in traffic. They say no one has ever beaten the VanWyck but those who say that have never been in the back of a Q-cab on the backstreets, emergency lanes and sidewalks of Queens going from one to the other in (yes) under 15 minutes sometimes!

Consider JFK just as good as LGA. EWR still sucks and is a co-terminal in name only. Hopefully that changes one day.
15 minutes no traffic, 30 minutes with traffic. Never changes

FWIW E-190s with one j/s.

You might see an A320 but that would be an equip sub.

Usually, although if they know you and know you're a good tipper they tend to go full on Italian Job with it. I've seen sub 15's during rush hour sometimes. But even 30 is pretty benign. It can take that long going from gate to gate at JFK if there's a terminal switch and even a slight hiccup on the AirTrain. Non event. EWR on the other hand is pure "co-terminal" fantasy. Should be a separate base or no base at all.
