I believe the days that carry out into June will count as "On Call" days and the carry out value for the rotation in June will be applied against your reserve guarantee. You do not get paid over the June reserve guarantee in that situation.

no, it goes towards the reserve guarantee. In short, you dont want a carryover trip going into June. There are times you might want to, but the scenario they are painting, you want to dump it, swap it, get something else.... or IVD it. Unless you just want to fly every last chance you can in the Maddog. But from a money making perspective...

Thanks..I don't have a carryover, but I was going to whiteslip one if it gave extra pay...I haven't been on reserve for 20+ years, so i wasn't sure about reserve rules. As far as flying the maddog one last chance, I've had many years on it and only care about $$.

now if you can greenslip a carryover, that’s a whole different deal.

If you don’t already have a carryover when you bid for June then it could be different. Bid X days at the beginning of June, then in that case if you pick something up that carries over into X days I think you will get paid extra for that. GS it’ll be single pay. WS I’m not sure.

So as of Cinco De Mayo, we are back to the original airport standby as outlined in recovery obligations, correct?

As of now, yes. And it’s actually May 4th after 1200.

With all of the 1 day trips (on the 320 at least) it was hard to see that deal staying. 23K would have been useless on all those trips.

To add onto a previous 23K spill trip question...... with a twist

I have a 3 day trip that I got as a W/S June 1-3. Bid period swap over is June 2. Trip was worth 15:45.

Trip has now gone NOOP w/23K. Time card shows 2:00 of pay for June 1. PBS does NOT show any carry in credit or anything at all for June 2 and 3.

REG in May and should also be REG in June. Spill trips can be changed prior to bid posting, but not sure how that lines up with a NOOP trip vs a trip just being modified.

So here are the questions:

1. If I were to do recovery, would it be for only a 1 day rotation or the original 3?

2. If I do the recovery, will it pay in May or June?

3. If I don’t do recovery and roll the dice, can the company use the entire footprint or just the last leg I would have had on June 1 since nothing shows in PBS after the 1st from my original trip ending on the 3rd....?

I have an upcoming trip that starts on day 1 with a DH to layover. The DH flight has since been canceled. Should that trigger 23K or does it have to be an operating leg that cancels or changes prior to report.

There is a later DH flight that they could theoretically change it to that would still provide a (barely) legal layover so I'd like to know if changing the initial DH is a 23K event before I call especially since I picked this trip up as a recovery slip which should make it Double 23K
