yep, I think 10 hours pay in Dec. Don’t quote me but I think 40 hours in May. None the less, it makes costing out the DALPA proposal re SIL’s and ER pretty difficult since it is an undetermined number of pilots that would take them . Mgt is pushing for reduced ALV’s across the board cause that is easily costed for Delta management.

I'll take it. Small kids at home, and don't want to put granny nanny at risk. I'll trade 20 hours for the peace of mind not getting called into work. That being said, 1/3 of the way into April, and I haven't even gotten close to being called in for a trip or short call.

I am on the 320 in NYC, I'd take a SILL if they offer it, just for peace of mind also. No short call is a help for next month.

I fear after May we will have no takers on a June SIL because when they see 150-200 guys on reserve in one category getting paid to do nothing, why take an SIL for 20 less hours?

Just watch, the counter argument that Mgmt will make will be: "SEE? Hardly any pilots took them, so we got no savings. We told you we needed ALV relief" But the fact is they missed their window for those savings by their own intransigence.

I'm already in a category that has 60-100 people on reserve every day and I'd still take as many months worth of SILs that they offered. I'd sign on right now to take SIL's through the rest of the year if they offered. 55 hours is plenty enough for me to do what I want and live just fine.

Commuting certainly has taken on an added challenge with the industry-wide schedule reduction (decimation). That should make May fun for the commuters.

I would as well. No problemo.
