Heard this today. There are some tests that are coming that are better than others. The name was said on CNBC today but I don’t recall. . The advice is to be tested two possibly three times to be sure.

I did a chat online yesterday with UHC. She said blood test collected at a doctors office is covered, mail in antibody test are not.
I did my test today at Senoia Family Care. They use lab corps. results in 3-5 days.

With these high specificities, does having had a flu vaccine, the flu itself, or any other form of coronavirus (not SARS-CoV-2) cause a positive? Or are they specifically looking for the antibody to that specific strain.
Not trying to get a test for pos. antibodies only because I've had a mild flu or something.

I asked that question (had the flu shot and had flu like symptoms back in Jan), and the PA I had said it shouldn’t affect the results. No test is full proof...always a chance of a false positive or a false negative.

To add to the data.
My family of 5 test used the anit-body test from SD Biosensor (a Korean company)
All had been sick around late Dec-Jan. All results showed negative for the Wuhan Virus. A few coworks with the same flying and sick history also, showed negative. (They are in differant citys and used different test)
So at this point, I dont know what to believe anymore. Either the tests are flawed, or we really have not been exposed yet. Which for me is surprising, being ive been all over Asian and Europe for the last 5 months.

I spoke to them today as well and can confirm this information. They are also running it through insurance, unlike a lot of other labs.
