That 12/2016 class was split. 1/3 of that class made a seat. The other 2/3 did not.

United guy here. You guys are 1 and done correct?

United will have a new displacement next week and will most likely have atleast 1 more in July and August.

No one can say how many there will be or how this will all wash out. The recovery and company strategy will determine what’s next. So far the signal has been to cut to profitability and surrender market share. Just my $.02.

They're sooooooooo concerned with "optics" yet don't even comprehend the biggest optics out there. Oh well, in no way can they impliment this "bid" yet the fact that they went with it undermined any chance of workable concessions they may have been able to get. As a bonus they'll abandon mass marketshare to more viable, better run competitors. B-School geniuses.

.

No. Pilot early retirement plan will be unveiled next week. If anybody accepts it, there will be sequential job bids posted over the coming months to account for the early retirees as well as account for changes that network decides as passenger trends become more discernible.

I have not faith in this management team. They are all talk and all excuses. I have no doubt that the early out will be lackluster just as most the things they do that are pilot oriented.

Funny how quickly things change. The best place to work yesterday can become the worst tomorrow.

Ok drama queen. This isn’t over so we’re a long way off from this becoming the worst place to work.

Bob S. said that staffing #s on the AE factor in a buffer that assumes 500-700 pilots will take the early out offer. We need that many to take it just to break even. If less take it then we will end up with even more on the street.
