forgot to bid 05-31-2020 05:21 AM

Is there a way to say before pay cuts and ALV reductions the company has to try to... actually sell tickets?

i just had a delta pilot tell me he had to buy tickets on American for a family reunion in July.

just a thought.

and 7912 is my guess on junior A

Based on the number of iterations that seem to have taken place, I am going to have to revise my guess to 8050 but still NYC220A.

As to your other point, I hope we fix this revenue problem ASAP. I had the exact same experience where AA got a family member's $$ because Delta.com offered no option. Ed keeps harping that this is a revenue problem. Well....let's get some revenue. If only we had dropped some $$ into Delta IT before borrowing against credit facilities to fund some of the infamous stock buybacks. Good luck to us all.

Last I saw, the recalls for the res agents began last Tuesday the 26th. Allegedly there was a two week notice planned so we may be in for another week plus before things improve.

Wasn't intended as a joke, and not how you get that suggestion from my post. What I'm saying is that, rather than this bid being used simply to position staffing for summer 2022, perhaps they are displacing more than is needed with the goal of converting thousands of pilots to lower-paying positions with no intention of actually training them. Then, when demand rebounds, run another AE and then train pilots where they are needed. Pure speculation, that's all.

My bad! I wasn't suggesting your post was a joke. I was saying this situation would be funny if it was us complaining about the company sharpshooting the PWA, when we do it all the time. It's only humorous absent the carnage.

I had to go 1 over Karnak but stay within the rumored and widely texted 7900 A, and pass it off as my own insider guess. :D

i watched a lot of Price is Right as a kid at grandmas during the summer. :D

i hope they cancel this bid.

I DO see the possibility of follow on AEs cropping up sooner than we have seen in recent years, with the possibility of lots of reinstatements, likely before the reinstated pilots ever even converted or trained.

The advantage is 70% of the pilot group averages a 20% pay cut starting July 1.
