Also hearing that 7909 for the junior A, 2400 UNAs and 2000 downgrades. Running consensus in ALPA is the company will run with the bid just to spite the pilots.

You seriously think personal animus is part of their agenda?

they can run and award the bid, but can they feasibly train the bid, thats the real question.

Maybe the strategy is both ends coming in to meet in the middle?

Staffing at one end....and recovering traffic at the other. Which would make full execution of this training monster less than worse case.

I’m relaying an alleged ALPA consensus, not mine so ask them if you think there’s any truth to it.

Keep in mind, ALPA reps won’t be immune to this pain. Heck, if we do furlough some could very well be cut. So, emotion is running high everywhere in our ranks so take that alleged consensus with a grain of salt. Maybe even give them a break.

No but it would be pretty ingenious. Convert everyone day one but don’t train. Then as things improve, cancel the AE and do a new real one.

Well if they're continuing with runs in hopes of a better outcome the junior A number will be inaccurate.

There could be assistant CP's cut as well.

There is always one super optimist in the group. I guess that would be you.

Always good to have a "glass is half full" person in the room. 😁

I know this is a lazy way of gleaning information but APC doesn’t show the A220 on the Captain payscale. What’s 12 year pay on that AC? Didn’t feel like looking in the contract. I’m thinking that bird has my name on it.
