Default JETBLUE furlough protection LOA reached

Any of you folks hear about that? I’d love to see the fine print if anyone has it or can obtain it.

Looks like their MEC Accepted a temporary No Furlough LOA in exchange for undisclosed concessions without a pilot group vote.

Us Jetblue pilots don’t even have the fine print.

Very strange letter..... essentially it says "we gave up something for a no furlough agreement, but we can't tell you what it is"

Section 23.A is furlough mitigation.

Their MEC can modify pay/benefits without membership ratification? Sounds F’d.

“ ...it does not contain changes to CBA pay rates or make significant modifications to work rules.”

No, they can not. Any changes to pay rates (including increases - yes, it’s happened) require membership ratification.

Section 23 allows certain modifications for furlough mitigation, including reserve adjustments, credit caps, line values, early outs, voluntary leaves, etc. We don’t know what they agreed to, but they didn’t change pay rates.
