I would suggest you boycott all those, but I know you're vehemently against "cancel culture." At least you got your playoff games to take your mind off it. Oh, that's right. They postponed those too. Try not to look at the banners displayed in the stands when they resume.
At least I can think for myself as opposed to everyone going along with the groupthink. Go jump off a bridge like everyone else. Delta opened Pandora’s box, you can’t stop it now.

I have no heartburn with disrupting the requirement. Take that critical word out, and the meaning is completely different. Same as I'd support striking any requirement for any faith-based mandate in any aspect of an American's life. I think it's important and helpful... but only by choice.

I don't know many people who exist in a supportive extended family or analogous village that find fault existing in it, even if it isn't ideal. I do, however, know of several coherent and close nuclear families who DON'T have such multigenerational or community connections/support... who also happen to be just trying to tread water. Any platform can be picked apart - if you seek to find negativity, you will find it.

A couple of perspectives on the aforementioned Western-prescribed nuclear family:

From mask news.....

The August 23rd incident took place at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Marshal was wearing a neck gaiter face covering. At first, he thought the style was the issue. He was handed a disposable mask which he put on.

However, when he put the American flag gaiter on top of that, he was refused boarding. This is political correctness gone amok

He was a FAM and they supposedly also blew his cover This was at Frontier. Hopefully our gate agents have been trained better

I actually think voluntarily wearing the pin is great. It's some very clear, non-ambiguous signalling that should prevent a lot of "openers" in the cockpit that would only lead to great butthurt on both sides of the aisle.

Says a great deal about you, really, as it is intended to. Now that you have explicit company permission to express yourself in a narrow, limited, pre-approved fashion, fly your flag.

No one's going to criticize you, unless they want a visit to the HR office.

The science is in. Children raised in 2-parent families do better by every metric: from mental health to career success. "Villages" don't cut it.

Political correctness can't change this basic irrefutable fact.

The American flag is a symbol of inclusion. The BLM pin is a symbol of divisions and is divisive.
.It fosters the tribal faction thought.

So now the political power that has controlled government the vast majority of the last 2+ centuries has declared the nation systemically racist, structurally oppressive and in need of their determined fundamental transformation.

Which at its core is to establish their perpetual control of power in this nation.

Their hubris is breathtaking. And should be terrifying to any American who places value on individual self determination and freedom.
C’mon, every political party is all about power. The modern GOP simply swapped with the old Dixiecrats in the south for power. Gone are the lofty ideals, now it’s all demographic anxiety and fear. The Dixiecrats were the conservatives of their day. Parties may change but conservatives have always been conservative and liberals always liberal. The party of Lincoln is now the party of Q’anon. Sad.

Please note: I didn't write that wearing the pin was great FOR ME. I've zero interest, for your stated reasons, and at least a dozen more.

But for a smooth functioning flight deck, this whole topic can be a landmine. Someone puts that pin on, and everyone around gets saved a ton of time determining which discussion topics are on the "approved" list.

Yeah like maybe my next CA, when taxiing into the gate, won’t make a comment about the marshaller’s dreadlocks being an indication of his intelligence.
