Nothing yet, will today be the day? The line has been drawn, the bar set, can it be attained?

SK on FaceBook said last night that they were told to expect publishing today late morning.

It's not surprising. I can draw a picture if it helps.

I disagree with Sailing a lot, guilty. But, he always stays professional and I respect him for that even though he catches tons of grief. I appreciate his points of view as they definitely further and add to the discussion.

I agree. I appreciate his comments and counterpoints. Sometimes it's just too tempting when there is a good round of sailing bashing though.
The best thing about sailing is you can agree/disagree with some or all of what he says and the tone doesn't change much. It's much better than the all or none, take no prisoners tone of some posters.

I agree completely, he catches a ton of grief for sometimes sounding too pro-company, but he rarely loses his cool when he catches said grief. He has the patience of a saint.

As far as the AE goes....I wouldn’t get too excited about a dream award or a lot of upward movement. I think a lot of people will get reinstated to their pre-Covid category and a few will move up into the ER category in ATL and maybe NYC. If you’re hoping for a Widebody A award, and you weren’t previously displaced from a widebody A position, you’re going to be disappointed.

Ok the contract is the contract, I got it. My point is that is that’s if we are unwilling to give up hours, especially premium hours, to help save furloughs, then maybe we should shut up about unity and how much we care etc. Because clearly it’s about the money right? Of course we don’t want to gut the profession, but these aren’t rate cuts or benefit cuts, just hours. It’s just greed over people, that’s all.

If you have 1 dump truck and 2 drivers and the work slows to only enough for 1 driver should the new driver get laid off or should the original driver support him? I used to work for a company that did seasonal layoffs. The only guys kept on were the tenured guys and senior enough to be retained. I see this as a similar situation. Sad and unfortunate but similar.

The second driver should hire Tanya Harding to “represent” him.
