If you’re on a NB fleet with new hires, expect a lot of E periods with these NHs moving forward.

For anyone that has been hired into the training department recently, how long was it until you started training? Does your new SLI pay start as soon as you start training or once you actually start working as an instructor? Has anybody recently been hired on a fleet they are not currently on? I'm a 320B with an AE award for the 330. If I was to apply I would be interested in the 330. Thanks for any info.

have been in department for years but your pay starts as soon as you convert to an instructor, which would be the first day of the bid period. You don't have to have experience on a fleet to be hired, apply to whatever fleet you want to work on.

I threw my name in the hat for an SLI position during the last application window that closed on the 19th. How soon do they usually start calling for interviews? If not selected for an interview do you get any sort of thanks, but no thanks email. Thanks for any input

It's usually pretty quick. No input if you don't get selected for an interview. Just crickets.

They do cpo validation first, that takes a few days.

You will get the email either way.

Thanks for the feedback. What is CPO validation?

Yeah, I'm nit sure I know either. I'm guessing it goes beyond looking up the amount of sick leave you use every year.....like do you have to exercise UTC every week? Are you a problem child?

Regardless, it can't be too stringent of a review. I got the nod from the CPO ....LOL

Your file review, basically how much pain in the butt we are operationally to work with as viewed by coworkers, plus
training results look back.
New hire assessments from probation
