Thanks. I am curious what the plan is.

Automation requires less manual schedulers, can process the awards faster, covers open time in a more efficient manner covering trips with more time prior to departure resulting in fewer delays leading to a higher NPS and greater customer satisfaction with a higher revenue premium resulting in greater praise laid at Ed’s feet and ultimately better Valentine’s Days for everyone. Good enough?

Now, could you stop with the vague insinuations of impending doom and answer my question? Why do you think there will be such a reduction in GS despite trip awards still having to go through the coverage ladder?

The way I read it if one is UNA, but on MLOA, they will need to come off MLOA to receive the 30hours a month correct?

And...there was no option to select an automated PCS run at 0700 for next day transactions, including swap with the pot.

So it was quite common to check open time at 8pm, see a great trip two days out that overlapped your existing trip departing the same day, and there would be no way to swap for it.

So we have made improvements there. Doesn't mean that we can't make it even better however.
Real time swaps like every other major would be nice but i'm sure somebody will say that will circumvent seniority.

You're about 20 years too late. NWA worked open time once a day. ONCE. At midnight. Some of the narrowbody guys got together and tried to get a resolution together to introduce more runs per day, and the old guard went completely out of their minds.

Ahhh, fun times....

I read it that they will get the 30 hours a month regardless if they are on MLOA to start with if they are in the bottom 1721. Then once recalls start happening they will be able to bypass the recall while on MLOA and keep getting the 30 hours of pay until all of them have been offered a position. Once that happens and the company goes to inverse assignment recalls they will keep the 30 hours of pay until the inverse gets to them at which point they will no longer get the 30 hours but be able to stay on MLOA up to 8 years thanks to LOA 20-03.
