Dont we get Suit Up Pay if the LCP makes us show to the plane before being released for OE? I’ve gotten it before, as a reserve, for that very reason. Easiest $350 I’ve ever made.

I counted almost 50 (I think)...DTW mostly.

Have to be all DTW. ATL and LAX 350 categories came into existence in the MOAD.

It would make much more sense to release as soon as possible. That frees up more people to cover their schedule.

I never remember such a long wait between memo and actual posting of the AE. It’s not a cruel April fools joke? It would be no Laughing mater....

AE has been open since Friday morning. Easter bunny bring you some brandy and you polish off the whole bottle?

From BS memo:

”DATE: April 1, 2021

SUBJECT: Staffing for Summer 2022

Crew Resources will post an Advance Entitlement bid on April 5, 2021 at 9:00 ET. This bid will close on April 15, 2021 at 9:00 ET.”

You might need to reread the memo:

Crew Resources will post an Advance Entitlement bid on April 5, 2021 at 9:00 ET. This bid will close on April 15, 2021 at 9:00 ET. The bid will have a 365-day conversion window,”

Literally the first sentence.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. That is your perspective. Not true for international where you sometimes have to take a covid test prior to departing.

I skipped the first paragraph and went right to the vacancies. Then I tried to submit my bid for a 220 in SEA. Got the message “invalid equipment for the base”. Went back and read the first sentence. Aha, there it was...April 5th.
