I've been 2 to a 10x10 room in Qatar for the last 17 days.
Nothing to do. Food is better than MREs, but it's basically the leftovers the other chow halls don't eat. So a lot of Yakisoba, Baked Fish, etc.. Zero salad. Fruit is fly infected.
Sadly, this is a US Govt run covid camp.
Roommate (Mesa F/O on orders) brought me Burger King once he got out.. It was the best burger ever.

Yeah. 32000 here.
Insect infested. They won't spray or let us use actual cleaning products.
Woke up today with ant bites on my right leg.
They claim I'm leaving tonight but I got on a C17 two days ago, flew to Afghanistan, then on towards Kuwait, only to be diverted because Ali went below mins..
They are being completely stupid with this. It was supposed to be 14 days, free to move in CENTCOM.
But its being run by a shoe clerk O3.

I'm based in HKG, currently flying a 5 week 'closed loop' - upon return to HKG from a flight (mainland China, Taiwan, Anchorage, cargo-only day turns exempt), I quarantine in isolation in our company hotel at the airport, just like we quarantine in isolation down route (and have been for the past 12 months). Upon completion of 21 days of duty, I then go off to hotel quarantine (fortunately NOT Penny's Bay where the FedEX guy ended up) for 14 days. Then two weeks at home, and repeat again. Hopefully once max vaccination is complete here, this will go away. In the meantime, it's a tough way to make a living. Very hard on our families too.
