I don't know that its to keep black people from voting, so much as it is to keep Democrats from voting. Black people in GA tend to vote D, so the racism is just a side effect of voter suppression.

Four pages in and I think that my point has been missed.
My frustration with Delta is that "we" apparently feel compelled to wade into these minefields and issue statements that, in today's political climate, are virtually guaranteed to engender half the population and alienate the other half. Frequently the end result is that "we" just leave everyone ****ed at Delta. Why can't "we" just focus on the core business running an airline?
Not here to debate the merits of SB 202 as either originally drafted or as finally marked up. I do have an opinion about it but it has nothing to do with my small role in the business known as Delta.

Yea. 8 hour long voting lines and banning water from people in those lines is to keep dead people from voting. I mean, if they die in line they can't vote for Biden!
In a healthy democracy, you wouldn't need to ban water to voters. I have never waited in line to vote long enough to require a drink, but I'm affluent and white. Maybe if the state of GA was so worried about people being bribed with water it would provide those counties enough resources to run an election without lines.
Oh, but that would defeat the whole point.
