Youre right...I don’t know what I was thinking. For some reason, I thought the freeze if you wanted to leave the ER for 765 was 9 months, but that’s incorrect.

Great captains in NYC. There's only one odd ball that I sometimes bid avoid, but mostly don't even bother.

I am a little confused by this. So if someone is on the 400 for over 2 years and has no freeze, if he bid back to the ER for seniority would that incur a new 9 month freeze?

Check out section 22G 3. Exception1. It says if fewer than 13 scheduled training days its a 12 month freeze. Exception 1 is 767 to 765 or Vice verse is only a 9 month freeze. This assumes you are not seat locked at the moment. Training is only 3 days.

That is correct. And it applies going either direction between the ER and 400.

I don’t know. I haven’t shared any correct information on here in a while. I’m going to give myself a little APC timeout. Recharge the batteries, get back to center.

Thanks to Maddoggin and FangsF15 for the answers. And thank you for an answer that while light on factual information I can somehow relate to.

Do LAX based commuters pay California income tax?

No. Plus as a commuter, you take mass transit to work and get a state mandated monthly LAX parking credit of $60. There is some sort of state mandated leave tax, but IIRC you get a credit from Delta that offsets most of it.
