SWA and AAL are also dealing with the latest B737 MAX 8 groundings for recent production issue related to electrical system.

Even on leap year? That seems, almost like, you should be able to predict that sorta holiday weekend.

We going for four in a row?

APC isn’t accurate. Check Air Fleets website.

Without getting into the whole "Is a 767 a real widebody" argument.... is this about size or pay?

PB day question

So I just finished a 4 day trip where the last leg was a red-eye that landed at 0645 that ran in to a hard no fly day ( so really a 5 day trip). Correct me if I'm wrong but this should award me a PB day?

I'm reserve - not by choice as I am < 60% in category - we just seem to have this manning problem due to the vaccine or so I'm told....

Not a YS, this trip was assigned by CS.

Did they still use their call sign to introduce themselves?

You should get 9 hours free of duty upon your new release at the completion of your rotation; and your X-days start afterwards. PWA 23.S.9.a has an example.

I read that.

In my case I go back on LC. My golden X day is gone as I got back in base at 0715 that morning. I have today off go back on LC tomorrow. My golden X day is gone, nothing got slid to the right. I should get a PB day for the fact they scheduled me into my hard off day right?

That reference above is not about that.

9 hours free from duty after your release plus 24 off for each X day interrupted. Double check their work, crew sched has literally screwed this up the last 4 times for me. Most of the time they forget about the 9 hours. This morning, I had to call and correct them because they gave me the 9 hours, but no PB day. Extremely frustrating when they can’t do their job correctly.

Also of note, every time I’ve ever been rerouted into an X day, crew sched has never applied the PB day. I’ve had to call them every time to get it fixed.

This is more in line with what I thought. I'll call them. I was just trying to find the actual wording of "awarded a PB day" but can't find it in the PWA.
