If I remember correctly, BS even stated that more frequent AEs would work better, but they continue with the larger/infrequent bids because it saves them a few pennies. It's really our own fault for not having better contract language...at a previous job, you knew before you even bid what month you'd train and what month you'd hit the line. Award on month one, train on month two and hit the line on month three. This part of our AE language and nearly all of our initial training language is really pretty terrible.

Regarding reroutes - how does RR pay work for a domestic trip that returns to base 6 hours later due to a RR?
If I read the PWA correctly (doubtful) it pays the RR day single pay in addition to the actual trip pay? Does this sound correct?
I know DV8 back end stops per diem - does this affect RR pay at all?
Thanks Scoop

No - the weather was the day prior. We were at our scheduled layover and they just rerouted our last day (today) no wx issues today, does wx yesterday affect a reroute today?
Thanks

it should not, as long as the last day was a reroute and not late operations. fill out an ACE report.
