I reached out to the check airman this morning and was able to get released. It worked out this time. Luckily the sign-in was later in the day. Commuting is a choice, but taking airplane rides just for the hell of it isn't fun especially with the mask requirements.

My trip next week has an OE on the entire rotation. Assuming I get released, I'm curious about my options for flying. I commute so I don't really want to sit around my crashpad waiting on a green slip. Am I able to white slip above the Max P/U hours on my schedule? The PWA says I'll get pay and credit for the trip and I'm not sure how all that works. Thanks
