I took it in a quiet spot free of distractions but recieved the news the next day that I was not successful on the assessment. In all honesty, I did not realize this was something that there are prep courses for. I kind of just expected it to be a personality assessment. Anyway I know you can reapply in 3 months. Are the chances decent at getting another shot after 3 months? I didn't think I'd hear from Delta so quickly anyway since I'm under 2000 total time. I do have over 1000 turbine though and I saw that was announced today as being the new prefered qualification. Hope I didnt blow my shot with Delta.

You'll have another shot. Start your interview prep now. I personally recommend Raven Careers, but there are many options. They can help you prep for the process, the assessment, and the interview.

Seek help. Use CRM. Resources are available, don't be shy. The fact that you posted your experience here (and sought advice) is a great start, keep at it.

Looks as though a couple of folks who posted on this page were successful their second time around and ultimately made it. Practice the games via the websites mentioned previously and keep your head up. You didn’t blow your chance.

edit: Previous poster beat me to it. Additionally, check out the CUT-E videos on YouTube and free sites such as pilotest.com for practice and assistance.

Same thing happened to me. I spent 3 months studying Cut-E tests and was successful the second time. Also did some prep for the work traits section through RST that was helpful. Passed the second time. Good luck.

they want to hire you or you wouldn’t have received the test in the first place. Keep moving forward

You definitely didn't... you'll get another opportunity. Keep the app updated in the mean time. Also I recommend attending a conference or Meet and greet near the end or just after your 90 day mark to get looked at more quickly. I attended one just after my 90 day mark and I think that's what triggered the re-invitation to take it a second time at about day 98ish.

I was in the same spot as you though. I did more practicing for it the first time (using RST and cut-e games and AA pilot credentials) and wasn't successful but passed it the second time around. I'm sure the personality section got me the first time so the 2nd I focused more on specific wording of the questions and answered as honestly as I could (i.e. always, never, often feel, etc...). You'll nail it the second time!

Anyone who received the top tier email last Monday get the assessment yet? Is the top tier thing a guarantee for the assessment ?

Typical timeline right now is 4 to 6 weeks between Top Tier and assessment....some people have gotten them quicker (just guessing they went to a meet up event or to something similar but I don't know why for sure)

I received "top-tier" on Feb 25th, still waiting for assessment invite. I am military though and not available until January, don't know if that has something to do with the wait.

Seems like an outlier, maybe contact pilot recruiting? We announced that we were hiring up to a year out for people getting out and 2 for retiring. Can’t see Jan being an issue.
