Nice edit BTW. I quoted your original.
You just disagree with everything I post here. I can't help the fact you are this way and generally just a seething antagonist to me on here. Tell us, what is incorrect about my post? What is in it that is wrong? If you are going to come and make ignorant unfounded comments, have the decency to back it up with reasons and/or facts. What I posted is very good gouge. Arnie brought me into hiring before you showed up here. I think I know what I'm talking about. Anyway back to your regularly scheduled programming. |

From the recruiting department regarding the 'top tier' emails.
'Everyone that receives an application review gets a letter to inform them of their status. There are quite a lot of applications being reviewed. Unfortunately it is not a first in first out process as there are many factors to be considered. I tell everyone, it's great that you are competitive and have been advised so that you can start preparing for your interview, so just be patient and we will get to your invitation as soon as possible.' Big hint in there. Don't wait for the invite to start prepping. Prep for the Cut-E, too. Top tier means it's coming. |

Because I knew it would trigger you. It's too easy. See, perfect example. You are just a plain antagonist to me on here. Again, what did I post that was wrong for jungle, or any other prospective, to ignore what I posted? Please tell us. Anyway, let's get to back on topic before Scoop yells at us again.

Not sure how me making light of not being good enough, failing, fumbling, not impressing the recruiters, turned into me having a chip on my shoulder. I didn’t mean to belittle or insult the really nice guy I spoke with. I was trying to let mjmfunk know who I talked to. Out of the dozen folks from Delta they may have all been 717 pilots. So by ASSuming he was the only 717 pilot I may have made an a$$ of myself. It stings to not be accepted but I’m like a hair in a biscuit. I’ll just keep trying, wear them down, until they love me.
don’t know the 717 guy don’t know the situation. just letting you know how your post came across. if you’re coming across that way in writing … imagine how you’re coming across in person. Intentionally or otherwise. interview prep can help you with this. |

Hoss is correct in his assessment. A better way to post it here would have been "The delta pilot I talked too..." Instead you got snarky, and its not funny either. Most likely they saw something in the way you acted, spoke that highlighted you. I can speak with certainty as being a former hiring team member - we can see it. We see thousands of people every year. We can spot it very quickly in the person to person interview.
I'm glad they vetted you there. Good news for you is all the majors are hiring like gangbusters. Pro tip - be humble. to the op, the part about the biscuits makes up for any perceived lack of humility (of which i did not pick up on) i hope you land here but wherever it is itll be great. HK you are a jerk. if you meet one a-hole they were an a-hole, if everyone you met was an a-hole its you guess what drum….its you Edit:**** oooff you beat me to it (sts), but a good dogpile may incur some self reflection |

Regarding my AON assessment issue, tech staff reset the specific test I couldn't complete the next day, a Saturday, and I was able to complete using a different browser and faster internet. I suggest having an up-to-date browser prior to taking. For those wondering I applied 3/22, top tier email 3/27, AON invite 4/25.
the tests currently used, just as stated in a previous post, are: -Spatial orientation (relative bearing questions) -Reaction speed (click when two shapes match) -Deductive logical thinking (sudoku, 4 and 5 grids) -Monitoring ability (moving dots) -Multi-tasking capability (3 tasks at once- math, finding duplicate shapes, and a slider to avoid a crash) -Auditory comprehension (audio clips of clearances in different accents) -Complex control (tunnel flight) -Work-related behavior (standard personality test) unlike what others said, i did find the sudoku tests to be a bit easier than I was practicing for. medium to hard difficulty on most pratice sites. |
