Wondering the same thing... I'm at 3 months. Reached out to the FB page and emailed hiring... both times they just said "it should be there before you know it"

Spoke to a DL pilot recruiter at TPNx. I was told that a checkride bust within the last two years *might* be a shower stopper. Anyone find this to be true? He wasn’t entirely sure if that was a hard requirement or not, but told me that might be the case.

Thanks!

I spoke with an instructor/pilot at TPNx KMCO. I reported my one and only MV bust in an AQP training program at my current ACMI. He said that this might “delay” any movement for me in the hiring process. But like you stated he wasn’t sure, and that it really wasn’t up to him or in his wheel house. I think the 24 month clean record is what they are looking for. And more than likely still placed in order according to degree, time, types. Regardless I’ve only heard crickets so I’ll have to reapply after Oct. of this year.

How critical is it to have internal recommendations?

I’m wondering this also. Any new hires with internal recs. feel like they might not have been called upon without their internal recs.?

im in the same boat. My top tier email arrived on Feb 20 and still haven’t heard anything back. Essentially got the same response on FB as well. Got a few months left on active duty so I’m trying to stay patient but sheesh, I was always terrible on Christmas Eve. Opening presents at 3am lol

I hear ya! The word here is that yours is coming with the top tier email. So begin your preparations now, if you haven’t already. Then again some have had to contacted HR to be found in the shuffle. Good luck! Congrats on the top tier.

Definitely worth trying. I didn't get the cjo at Delta and United my first time around. Was successful at both the second try. I changed prep companies and my entire approach. Feel like the folks at Career Takeoff dissected me and pointed out some stuff I hadn't thought of and wasn't aware of. highly recommend them.good luck!

What happens if you don't complete the assessment in time? Can you reapply?

What were you doing for an entire week that prevented you from doing the assessment? In a coma, submarine on silent running, eye surgeries for kids in the bush? Whatever it is, write that down in a very apologetic email asking for another shot.
Otherwise, you can always keep updating your file in hopes another chance comes.

Considering how much of delta hiring is done by a person, it can’t be good.

So do some applicants get the assessment right away, and some get top tier? Or does everyone get the top tier email? I just got it this morning and wondering what the timeline looks like from now.

I went straight from a fix it email to assessment in a couple of weeks. I know somebody else who got top tier then assessment within similar time frame.

What is the current time frame from CJO to class date? Seems like it is shortening?
