I mean, you definitely come off that way...

Yup…you’re and also Spirit pilots are getting preferential interviews. So it might take a while…

I really doubt any 900hr officers will be called for a while, there’s a surplus of pilots with experience out there.

at least 3 First officers I know of have been hired this past month but don’t get all butt hurt just because your airline of choice is being rejected by someone else. All I’m asking is to withdraw my application and I’ll just flow soon enough anyways so I’m not losing out on anything I’m just looking to get to LAX as quick as I can

Have you had your application professionally reviewed?

There's seriously something you're not getting logged correctly.

Also, are you applying to all the majors. If you are at a regional that feeds Delta they will call a American wholly owned guy with half the hours first.

I have not paid to play ever and will never pay to play when I flow soon enough anyways. I have applied to all the others too but only did United within the last few months

All those already had interviews. Anyone with an interview before Spirit close, doesn’t count.

You can always change the information in your profile for fake “stuff” if you don’t want your real info in the app.

Your choice. I spent a few hundred 10 years ago to have a professional check my stuff. Nothing major was jacked up but I wouldn't pass up a year of seniority at a career destination carrier to save $400.

But you do you.

I paid a professional to check my stuff and they (and I) missed an incorrect digit in my phone number on my resume. That was embarrassing to explain to the UPS recruiter when he couldn’t get a hold of me 😐

Anyone how to withdraw your application and delete your information from the system? I have tried emailing the recruitment team and they are not helpful.

I truly wish I could help you with this. But I am not familiar with the new app system.

Hopefully someone who is can give you the assistance you seek.

Only quoting this to illustrate a point. Really not trying to sound harsh, but it will probably feel that way to you. So sorry if it does.

This is a very short sighted and utterly foolish take. “Pay to play”??? Do what you have to do to get that seniority number! Go to the conference, pay for interview prep and app review. Or you completely sacrifice your right to complain when you don’t get hired.

Saving a few hundred may just cost you hundreds of thousands or more. If the music were to stop and you were shut out, would you feel righteous and principled, or kick yourself?

Again, not trying to slam you personally, just offering some wisdom to the masses.

Nah, he should pull his app. Hopefully American or United gets this winner before his flow.
