If anyone could provide insight on my hours and if it is competetive at the moment that would be great.
1710TT
700SIC total in turbine
120 in A320 so far for JB
The other turbine time are E175, HS125 and CE525. Only 10 TPIC tho.

I understand my TT is pretty low but are there chances before the slow down, as far as I understand DL is slowing after the first quarter of 2024?

Thanks!

Time is low. Another 300 hours [turbine] and you'll be more competitive. I know a JB guy who got an interview after 2500 hours.

There are zero chances if you don't apply. Get your app professionally reviewed.

I don’t know what TT lately has been getting invites, but I think I would put my app in ASAP. Having 700 A320 hours at JB should get you over the line, I would think. Best of luck.

I know at least one person that got a call with similar times (about 1800 TT) last summer, but I don't know if that still holds up with the change in hiring pace. Still would definitely keep that app updated!

Put the app in. You've got more TT and TPIC than a lot of applicants. It costs you nothing to apply.

very competitive. If anything, you are starting to be on the back side of the curve. Get your app in anywhere you are willing to go ASAP.

Thanks fellas! Got the name in the hat!

Data point:

Was fortunate to get the call to schedule an interview yesterday.
Despite being offered dates at the end of Jan and beginning of Feb by the website, the first available date according to a live human (after some back and forth with the scheduling system) was 27 Feb. I learned they are not back-filling January cancellations/reschedules at all.
When the same scheduler mis-dialed me this morning, I asked if anything earlier in Feb had miraculously opened up. I was informed "they" are "cracking down on rescheduling." Not sure what that means specifically, but figured I'd share the info.

Good luck all!

Anyone know when signups will be available for NGPA meet and greets? Event is in a month. I checked the NGPA site, but nothing other than dates of the event and how to register to attend. I don’t want to waste time/money going if I can’t get a meet.

Hello Aviators,

Flying for a flag carrier in Europe atm. Thinking about moving to States in the summer. Want to get your opinion about my experience and my chances of joining Delta in next fall.

3200TT
1500 SIC in A320
1200 SIC in A330 (FAA type rated/currently flying)
300 SIC in A350 (currently flying as well)

Strongly appreciate any suggestions/recommendations.
P.S. I am a Airbus fanboy by heart

You definitely won't get hired unless you throw you app in....which you should do ASAP!

Are you legally eligible for employment? If no legal/visa barriers, then times are probably competitive, though I don't know how much that is going to change with the slowdown in hiring.
