Does an LOR trigger an app pull? I’ve been told it does, but I’ve been told it’s supposed to trigger it to be pulled within 30 days of an LOR, and I’ve been told it is only for 1 time per year. Anyone know if either/both of these are the case?

I don't think so. In my neck of the .mil woods, folks have not been getting AON invites until pretty close to their availability date. I've had my app in since Aug with an LOR from DPS (from attending ATP-CTP with them) and a LOR from a current DL pilot. I'm available Nov 2024, and no AON invite or "top tier" email yet.

to be clear, I’m not saying an LOR will get you the invite. I’m just saying I’ve heard it will get them to at least look at your application.

I'm just saying in my neck of the woods everyone has 1000+ multi-turbine PIC and AON invites aren't coming until really close to availability. Most folks have the DPS LOR as most of us attended ATP-CTP at in Atlanta.

For as far as I’ve been aware, having a Delta pilot submit a rec as a part of your airline apps application guarantees a person scores it within 30 days. There used to be a link on deltanet where we would put in the submission but a few years ago they changed that so now it is automatic when you submit the rec via airline apps. I’m not sure how that works if the person’s app was already scored within the last 12 months. Given the lack of number of apps on file compared to historical norms I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve reduced the window to rescore an app. All the windows for retaking the assessment or reinterviewing have shrunk so why not the scoring window.

Regardless, once your app is scored it is anyone’s guess how long that’ll take to translate into an interview invite.

I'm really itching to throw an app in. To be honest, I haven't had a pulse on hiring at the Big3 for a while now, but I'm starting to worry about the drection the execs at my outfit are taking.

Realistically, how competitive will my app look? Are there any other boxes that needs to be checked?

Put the app in. You've got more TT and TPIC than a lot of applicants. It costs you nothing to apply.

very competitive. If anything, you are starting to be on the back side of the curve. Get your app in anywhere you are willing to go ASAP.

120 in A320 so far for JB
The other turbine time are E175, HS125 and CE525. Only 10 TPIC tho.

I understand my TT is pretty low but are there chances before the slow down, as far as I understand DL is slowing after the first quarter of 2024?
