I took the assessment 2.5 weeks ago and have yet to hear anything back. I’m assuming at some point they’ll reach out with a TBNT email of some sort? I know that guys have waited up to a month to get an interview invite following the assessment, but is there any idea of how long those that have failed the assessment tend to wait before getting denied?

The email I got today with the assessment invite said to email them if it has been more than 7 days after completing it.

Thanks. I appreciate it.

How long after a CJO does it take to get the initial email from the background check company?

I got mine a little over a week after CJO. Also of note, at CJO (30 Sep) they told us to expect indoc around the end of November, maybe as late as beginning of December. I just got an email for 9 Nov indoc. Something something flexibility something.

I wouldn’t expect a week. Personally I think it’s an anomaly, but retiring mil or only one job peeps don’t have much to dig into. If you’ve had several jobs expect it to take a bit longer. Also, it may help to have some old W2’s and/or pay stubs to help the process along for verification.

Mine too four weeks, and I had to call the background place several times. Turns out they actually forgot to submit my final package to DAL. Be prepared for that. I’m not the only one that happened to…

Does anyone have any visibility on how the sudoku part is graded? I'm trying the Cut-E tests, and on hard, it's 6 minutes to do 15. If you don't get to them, it's counted wrong. Some are super simple, but some are very complicated (at least to me). Anyone know if it's better to guess and take a 50/50 shot of getting it wrong in order to get through all 15, or is it better to get each one right even if you only get 3 or 4 done?

I erred on the side of accuracy and took my time. Only got about 5-6 done IIRC.

I bombed the sudoku part. Got through them all but at very low accuracy. Still got invited, so maybe the overall score matters and not individual section.

On Cut-E, I got scores around 80% for the sudoku part on hard. The actual test was different in that I didn't know how many puzzles there were to complete. I took my time but the next thing I knew, I had only about 30 seconds left and I only completed 6 or so. The actual assessment is slightly different for all the tasks, but the Cut-E stuff definitely helped.

How are people doing on the word scramble and the crossword part? Do you have to bring your own USA Today or is one provided?
