Na, were just the 1900's ship captain spin offs. But that does give me a good idea I think we should update our language for PA's to be inclusive of our nautical attire. Turbulence shall now be referred to as sea state, Thunder storms are now ice burgs, and one pilot must yell "land ho!" before landing.

I also hate this jacket. I don't think aviator sunglasses and a bomber jacket is the fix.

This I can get onboard with! “Ladies and Gentlemen we’ll be 20 minutes early today due to a stiff wind from astern and a following sea.”

Nice catch mr. gummed

I had a good chuckle with breeezy's reply. He is a bit naive about the military, so it is somewhat acceptable for him to insert his foot in his mouth on that one.

CEO wears sneakers. Many on the 4th floor sans tie. Hasn’t cheapened their value, just a sign of the times

I'm actually not naive. It's called a joke.

Leather jackets are what old guys wear when they are trying to look cooler, like Tom Cruise in Top Gun. My comment actually had nothing to do with "the military." Bit since you went there, I don't want us looking USAF pilots either.

Jesus. Leather jackets?? What an awful look.

False. A pilot at the grocery store or the mall without the hat is out of uniform!

I’m talking outside PTC.

You obviously didn’t attend a MEC meeting 95-05. The number of reps calling themselves by their call signs and acting like everyday was a O club reunion was amusing.
