Pardon me but I do not discount that rotations have gotten worse. Rotation quality is a big reason I did not reinstate to the 717 and ran to NYC on the 73. I'd rather commute than do 3-5 leg 11-13 hr duty days trip after trip.
The domestic rotations are worse than they've ever been. All I'm saying is I understand the reasons why rotations have gotten worse (tight staffing causing the company to minimize credit, demise of the 88/717 fleets, 320 and 737 now being used on an incredible variety of short, medium and long range flights aka "the optimizer's dream") and I bid accordingly. I would say only the junior guys should complain as they have no choice but now with 2.5 months guys getting the left seat the mantra Bid What you Want, Want what you bid still stands.
