I've always appreciated Sailing's contributions. Sure, it is sometimes hard to hear but his comments ring with wisdom and experience.

I don't disagree with you that the current administration has boinked the goat on fiscal policy, but unfortunately the only cure to the inflation they brought us is most likely to tank the economy. The recession is probably unavoidable now the only question is how deep it goes and how long it lasts. Also the Fed determines all that and they are mostly independent. The current Fed chair will probably outlast Biden and his comrades unless Trump comes back and tells everyone "yer fiiiiaaed" which I doubt will happen and don't even really want to see (time to move on to more traditional conservatism).

The other party is just as fiscally irresponsible as the current party in charge. Both can’t break their addiction of spending money we don’t have. And let’s not forget the last guy in charge was threatening the Fed trying to get them to lower rates when they were already exceptionally low and the economy was red hot. So no way an election in November is going to be anything other than more of the same.

Here's a fun exercise and its 100% non-political.

Go to your trusted gov sources and find the current debt as well as the current yearly debt payments by the gov. You will see that the number is staggering and it rivals the cost of entire massive programs combined. Then increase the debt to whatever you realistically think it will be in 1-3-5-10 years, and increase THAT by whatever you think the cost of servicing that debt will be over that time. IMO it can't ever be repaid and will soon become the biggest thing the gov spends on. Cloward-Piven in full effect.

Remember that JD power thing? Net promoter scores above our competitors? Best domestic network and a strong balance sheet? This is what Ed touted to the shareholders and what he is really saying is that Delta has pricing power to pass inflation on to the customers. No reason why our wages shouldn’t hold up to inflation as well.

And inaccuracies stated as fact. I dissenting opinion is fine, but not all post are true no matter how he presents them.

Bad faith basis calls that also force verification doctor visits for sick calls that otherwise wouldn’t require verification…also don’t go against your 100, so we’ve got that going for us, which is nice.

This is incorrect. You are legal to keep flying in your previous category for the duration of your carry out trip.

IMO truth is a subjective term in our culture. There is my truth, your truth, his truth and her truth. I agree that if stating fact one needs to provide The who, what, when and where...but not the why and how; those are opinions which only cloud the discussion unless specifically asked for
