All the SWA stuff is true. Just had a three day from my line that paid 33, and a four day that paid 45. Even the FA’s are getting extra right now. We will see what March holds.

It seems like a great way to manage staffing issues and avoid cancelations. How did Southwest compare to other airlines over Christmas as far as flight cancelations? I know Delta has been having a lot of cancelations since Christmas.

I don't think you can make double pay permanent; I imagine it's as long as needed by mgmt.

1.5 for flying your trip that you already had on your schedule. 2.0 for anything picked up in open time. Reserves line holders get 1.5 for sitting and 2.0 for the trip they get assigned.

Nothing green over here, we are severely undermanned in every department. They are just trying to keep the operation running .

If only it were pensionable, then it would be something.

They're basically paying people to not call in sick. It's not permanent.

Great. It’s like flying with people who swear “it’s only allergies” and then when you get home the whole family gets sick.
