This thread is pretty amusing considering our FAs seem to wear pretty much whatever they want these days. Half wearing the purple, others wearing the salt-and-pepper. Any jacket seems to be just fine. And we’re visible to the customer for all of what, 15 seconds?
if I see a guy not wearing his hat, I assume they’ve forgotten it and I don’t much care after that. Not my job to be the uniform police.

The amount of people that go out of their way on something as stupid as this. We have a uniform, wear it. If you don’t like it, write the CPO, the Union, EB, Congress, whoever you feel like. But wear it when you are supposed to. And if you have DH/commute gear, more power to you there, I don’t care. But if you are walking through the terminal with your jacket wide open, tie way down, and your hat on your bag, seriously……..
And I know this probably ****es some off, but just wear the d**m thing when you are supposed to. How hard is it? You knew when you got hired that pilots had uniforms right?

I forgot my hat once about 5 years ago. The ATL CPO was clueless and uninterested in helping me, so I flew the trip without a hat. The world didn’t end.

This is NOT about lack of available uniform pieces.
My gripe is about employees who don’t feel like wearing the uniform correctly because they don’t think they should have to.
