Congrats .

Quote: I don't think "catching sick abuse" is the carrot everyone seems to think. GFB is still fully available and with the letters that went out, it will be the hammer for the foreseeable future. I hope I'm wrong.
Sick calls are up drastically without lookback. Talk to your reps.

The difference between GFB verification and 120h lookback verification is that the company pays for GFB, while the pilot pays after 120h of lookback. Thats a pretty big carrot/stick!

I just don’t see GFB as a big problem like a lot of others do. I guess people are scared of talking to the CPO? Okay, you want a letter, I’ll go on telehealth and get you your letter. It takes maybe an hour of my time, the company pays for it, and the lookback is removed. I’ll happily take that deal.

Anyone who is undeterred by GFB is equally undeterred by lookback. The difference is paying a $40 telehealth copay, and nothing more. Nobody who is calling out of a trip that pays $5000+ is deterred by a $40 fee.

Lookback suspension began November 1st, which coincided with the start of the worst flu season in 25 years. Sick calls have surged everywhere, not only at Delta, due to the severity of this cold / flu season.

Management appears to be clueless that correlation does not imply causation. But if that gets us QS faster, so be it.

Hold up. Wait a minute. You’re in your early 40s and are a WBA? Why are you so angry? JFC.

Meanwhile I'm too JuNiOr to "properly" hold 7ERA but yet I'm older than him. (Late 40s)

Did you never try WB or you did and just decided it wasn't for you so you came back to NB?
