One thing I’ve learned at every job I’ve ever worked at is that everyone cheers for the VP of Flight Ops to get tossed thinking the next guy will be better. Never the case.

You login to iCrew and get a popup "You have been assigned training, please check your VTS file, press F2 to continue" and think, that's weird, I don't remember bidding for anything, but I guess it has been a while since I had CQ.
You check your VTS and see FUTURE ASSIGNMENT: ATL-FLOP-VP
