I think everyone, including retirees, should be paid full retro PLUS interest. We need to disincentivize dragging out future contracts. And really it's only fair. We've been working under an expired (amenable) contract.

But we don't retire. We are forced to leave. There is no retirement.

I can gu-ar-an-tee you that ALPA will screw those retired guys out of anything they should have coming to them. It will be called a 'Signing bonus'
Wait, so do we retire or not? If the first quote is true, the second can't be true... :D |

Interesting. I got nothing and still have nothing.
Have you updated your bids in the last 6 months? The pop-up I received said, "records show you haven't updated your bids in 6 months." |
Reserve X day sanity check
Trying to figure out X days in June - 30 days, ALV 80:00 hours, 3 days for CQ. No extra X day. With 27 days available I calculate 11 X days from the table but the John Bell calculator spits out 12. If it comes to me or the calculator, experience tells me to trust the calculator :D.
What am I missing? Is it 11 or 12 days? Not a big deal but I might put an all or nothing in there. Thanks |

Company knows who is and is not voting for this mythical future contract. Signing bonuses capture more excitement of the voters than retro does especially as the months/years roll on and new hires populate the scene and retirees fade into memories. |
This just in…
I’m in the middle of a 30 day stretch in ATL. Just ran into some Top Men and can confirm we should have a new contract sometime in the next 3 years. I’ll let y’all no if I can squeeze any more juicy details outta them. |
