Currently only on international or long block domestic trips. It’s stated that they have reached a agreement for a full crew meal program in contract talks. How long to implement is unknown.

Have people been having any luck using an APD over a holiday, specifically July 4th weekend? I know they can deny it regardless of reserve coverage because it falls on a holiday but is it an automatic denial? For what it’s worth I’m on the captain side and reserve coverage is not nearly as bad as the FO side.

Same deal, they CAN deny you dropping reserve days, but it’s not automatic. I APDd three reserve days over Christmas two years ago. It didn’t go through for a few days, maybe a week, but they can choose to award it.

Also, put in multiple requests of different numbers of days…fore a three day drop you want, put in every possible combination of those days if you’d be happy with any/all drops.
