Alaska Strike Vote

I would argue that starting with minimal wealth amplifies the entrepreneurial spirit, whereas starting with wealth reduces the drive.

Below is a quote and a link from Maye Musk, Elon’s mom. Sounds like he had limited resources to me.
“I brought my kids up as a single mother with very little money, and we survived. We used to live in a rent-controlled apartment in Toronto with Elon on the couch. It took three weeks to clean, then I saved to buy $5 sheets. Eventually I bought beds, then a computer, and after that chairs – you can always work on the floor. I cut their hair, gave them mani-pedis, wore $19 shoes to walk the runway. You don’t need massages to be happy.”

You claim your tax credits? Mortgage interest? Donations? Write off your car registration fees? You take a deduction? Even a standard deduction…then you’re guilty of doing the same things as them, except on a much smaller scale.
Facts aren’t welcome when discussing evil corporations and billionaires. However donating to BLM and recognizing them as a legit organization is imperative. Or you are a bigot.

I'm not sure why all the fan boys came running when I didn't bow at the feet of Diety Musk. I'm not arguing he isn't successful. Clearly as he's routinely in the running for richest person in the world. I said he's a loudmouth clown on social media. Being rich doesn't make you a prophet and it certainly doesn't make you a good person. History is littered with rich people who used shrewd business and labor tactics to make themselves more rich and more powerful.

"Talks between rail labor (12 rail craft unions bargaining in two coalitions on behalf of 115k rail workers) and major railroads ... will enter a 30-day cooling period this Friday. Then the Biden administration may appoint a Presidential Emergency Board (PEB) to resolve the dispute."
Still several more steps before self-help, plus at least two more cooling-off periods.

We always talk about strikes, PEB, cooling off periods, etc. What I just recently discovered is that Congress can intervene on the backside of all that and force a TA.

I don't think either party in Congress has been receptive to PUBLIC sector unions for at least 30 years, however.
Pilots making 3 or 4x's the average worker aren't a sympathetic demographic to anyone. Even other pilots, judging on the poo flinging here.
