I think they nailed it down 2-5 posts ago. It’ll be a while. Let’s not publish pay charts for an agreement that hasn’t been agreed upon.

it’s fun for the kids, but it means nothing until we see some TA
the year 12 pay rates themselves (+/- $1) are probably the only thing that will have little to no grey area vs the AIP. In general I agree but this should be just math.

correct. It’s just math. But math on numbers that aren’t even TA’d yet. Wind the clock is all I’m saying

Well, I kinda like that they put it out. Why? Cause curious minds from AA and UAL come here wondering what to push their NC/MEC for and also how to answer their surveys. So, while it may not come to fruition for us, it does (hopefully) establish a line in the sand that mgt was willing to pay. Pattern bargaining in an up environment is good

IMO

The people that need 45 days to review the language are the same guys who say they need a full 7 days to bid because, "they might be out of the country on a trip, during the bid window." Apparently, the internet hasn't made it outside of the U.S. yet....some day soon! 🤣

Imagine we both live in ORD. My DTW trip ends with an ORD turn. I fly DTW-ORD, we high-5 on the jetway, I go home and you fly ORD-DTW.

Agreed. Normally I wouldn’t care, but because of the company’s parting kick to the nads this actually matters now. Assuming this passes (and it probably will), every day that’s delayed costs us real coin due to no 2023 retro. If 7 days is good enough for the reps to decide for us, it’s enough time for us. I’ll put in the effort to study it and vote, 45 days is ridiculous under present circumstances.

As an added bonus, DALPA saves money since they won’t have to sell it for as long.

Thanks. Would that be some kind of a bid option or a post result swap kind of thing?

In a previous life I did it as I was commuting. FO got off plane and asked if I was legal to work the flight up..of course I wanted to get paid for the commute. A quick phone call to scheduling to confirm legality and now I was getting paid for my commute and the other guy was winning by getting to go home about 4 hours earlier. It was that simple and happended during the :45 turn. Delta/DALPA may have some other restrictions/guidelines (we will have to wait for language).

I understand it doesn't work all the time, but its extra flexibility that is nice to have.
