I don’t think that has been officially released (nor will it) but I think the rumor was it was the same 9-8 as the MEC election.

"Q-66. Is there any restriction as to the amount of flight time a flightcrew member can be at the controls on an augmented flight? A-66. Part 117.17(c) requires that the pilot flying the aircraft during landing must be provided a two-consecutive-hour in-flight rest during the second half of his/her FDP. The pilot monitoring during the landing must be provided a 90-consecutive minute in-flight rest. Other than these required rest opportunities, there is no restriction in Part 117 on the amount of flight time a pilot may spend at the controls during an operation that otherwise meets the pertinent FDP, flight-time, and cumulative limits.

Q-67. Does the two-hour rest requirement (Part 117.17(c)(1)) apply only to the flightcrew member at the controls who flies the aircraft during landing? A-67. Yes. The two-hour rest requirement for augmented flights in the second half of the FDP applies only to the flightcrew member who flies the aircraft at the final landing. The flightcrew member who performs monitoring duties on the flight deck must have 90 minutes of inflight rest availa"

Sometimes the FO doesn't want to land so that he loses currency and has to go to training and pick up about 4 hours extra pay.

My wager is that we will be lucky to see jetway trades offered prior to the end of this agreement. It will be incredibly complex and... well... Delta IT.

If the lax reps don’t let this go to memrat (pending review of course) then I will advocate for a recall. It’s really that simple. Of 9 pilots polled so far on the road, I’ve met one no voter. And honestly the guy was a clown in the jet. Too fast, not looking at the flaps as he is reading the checklist, after I do the slow methodical taxi check. This is a guy that thinks saying and doing things fast makes you a smart amazing airline pilot. Oh and an ffdo.it all kind of fit. A real alpha male, and not afraid to make sure you know it. (He left the apu on and I caught it in the after take off, and we were landing with 6.5 to begin with on a 2.5 hour flight). His rushing would have caused a divert. The reason why I mention this is not only for boosting my ego complaining about another dude, but it seemed like risk mitigation was not in his toolbag, because imho he looks at it as a slight on his persona

Don’t fly airliners like you fly your (insert other job here), slower is faster. We are safety monitors. Not ego driven ace of the bases

Note: I screw up all the time, I’ve just learned to go slow

I will also advocate for a recall. I'm sick of the childish comms anyway. Also I don't like the fact Kolbus voted no on 20-04. I think it's time for some new blood. He's out of touch with the line guys.

Funny is that nearly every pilot I meet on the line is a hard no or leaning no. I am looking to recall any rep that sends this out to memrat...

To each their own I guess. I just believe they shouldn't sent out something that didn't follow all the comms just for the sake of sending something out.

Everyone I personally know is leaning yes, minus one guy who is leaning no. Every FO I've flown with has been a yes. How have you met so many hard no voters? How can you even be a "hard" anything without seeing the TA language?

I love a good debate and appreciate decent, when appropriate. I'm almost never on this, or any other forum, except when some interesting or significant news breaks. AIP is significant news. I come here to get the negative reviews, because they are always abundant, and sometimes even have merit.

I've not talked to one pilot, at Delta, or any other of a few airlines, who is not pleased, very pleased or overjoyed by the tiny bit of information that is available, to this point. Anyone suggesting this has a chance of not passing easily, is living in "FORUM Sim City" and doesn't get out often enough....sorry if that hurts anyone's feelings. Maybe there is a way that DAL mgt totally buggers up the final language, but if the bullet points pan out to be true, we'll have a new agreement by Easter.
