Half of the year I don't get hit the GS trigger, so I never fly a GS. Premium Open Time may get me off the couch if it doesn't require a min credit trigger. If there are others in that same situation it could impact pilot staffing by getting low timers to pick up open time. The hour hoes gonna hoe regardless, Premium Open Time may provide incentive for the lower time fliers.

I have the utmost confidence that DALPA lawyers are not so inept that the company outplays us on every turn. With(hopefully)15K pilots looking at the language(if opened for MEMRAT) I am fairly confident that things will be fine overall.

Paybanding training slowdown effects are going to take awhile to materialize. Now that we know (or will know) the new paybands and work rules, a lot of people may now make a last jump to optimize their seniority. Bidding choices for when they send you to training is also going to re-incentivize fence sitters to make a move now that they can plan for it.

Also, people currently commuting for the 350 can possibly go back to a base where they live and be on the 330 for the same pay. Also some on the 350 may just like the 330 trips better. LAX with the 350 but not 330 will see some people be able to bid the 350 that couldn't before. Hard to say how much effect this all has on training much less that it will result in less pilots.
