Former AF flight engineer. Reached out to pilot selection via email and havent recieved a response. Interview requirements say to bring AF 942 Record of evaluations and Form 8 checkrides if you were flying in a military capacity. Does this mean any flying, enlisted included, or really do they just want it if flying was as a pilot. Same thing for total time on psych consent form? Do I include FE time or just pilot time? Any other way to find out sort notice. Issue with forms is they are buried in basement. I'll dig them out but rather spare headache finding them if possible.

I’m a FE about to retire and I start next week. I didn’t add any of my FE time to anything except on my app where it can be listed. I did bring my FEF to the interview and all my EPRs. PM me if you wanna chat offline.

Psych Consent Form
 

On the Psych Consent Form, for "Honors" and "Leadership", is that for military service since it is right after that or is it any honors or leadership you have had through employment, service organizations, school, etc.?

Tabbing Logbooks
 

On the instructions for the interview docs, it says not to staple/bind/tab any of your documents. Does this mean no tabbing logbooks? I have mine tabbed for all my training events, endorsements, etc.

Tabs on your logbook are fine. I’ve seen plenty and it makes it easier to sift through. (Not required!)

The interview team just doesn’t want you to tab your paperwork. They literally want it all in a big pile. It’s tough because it feels unprofessional to drop it off like this. But, it’s to make it easier for the admin folks to make copies and look at it.

Just. Follow. The. Directions. Precisely.

No tabbing is for the other documents. Logbooks go in their own stack

For logbooks I used 6 different colored tabs and had a key in the front breaking it down.

I tabbed my logbooks by year across the top, then on the sides tabbed key checkrides, first solo, etc. Didn't get a single question about my logbooks the interview.

I took all my tabs out that were in them from another interview. Fully clean nothing hanging out. They didn’t even ask a single question regarding my log books. I even use a log system that totals the days flight time and not each flight, so a little chance of someone asking the question of why I choose that method…but nope..just handed them back.

This. It would probably be unwise to show up for a Delta interview with the United or Southwest tabs that everyone knows they ask for in your logbook.

It can't be said enough. The Delta interview process may be frustrating and intimidating, but a big part of it an evaluation in reading/comprehension, following directions, conformity, and being detail oriented, all qualities Delta values.

Just do exactly what they tell you to do. No more, no less. Don't try to read between the lines.

Oh, and also keep in mind, that you're being watched and listened to from the minute you arrive at the guard shack, until the minute you leave the property. Act accordingly.
