Curious why you don’t use Oaknotes for Notams? The only thing I use M+ for is to push the info to Oaknotes.

I've used it. It's fine. I've gotten used to m+ so using oaknotes was just another interface to get comfortable using. It presents data better and more concisely but it was just as easy to get info from M+ for me.

Gotcha. I'm honestly not trying to talk down the third party products. Sounds like the guys that put it together know what they're doing. Just seems odd they're highly praised here but I haven't met anyone on the line that uses it. And I tend to ask my captains since I wanna see what its like first hand.

Well, because I didn't know Oaknotes handled Notams as well. I guess I need to dig a little deeper!

Yes.

Might be a time-on-the-property thing.

John Bell has been doing great things IT wise for at least a decade. "Grey area" stuff. For international ops, especially.

Had to be there.

You're grown adults that have been given MONTHS to learn and to adapt. You have no excuse.

There are many of us who know how to use M+, and have determined John's HTML is far superior. It's not a question of adaption, just preserving as much QOL as possible for as long as possible in reference to the flight plan.

Ok, if it's available to you, you have every right to use it if you want to. But his assertion that it was gonna cause a bunch of delays and disruptions because guys have refused to use it is childish. You can use whatever you want but it's still our responsibility to be proficient enough on M+ to safely operate and on time.

So what's next, speed trials and a check ride on M+ ? What's the min/max timeframe going to be? What if you fail? You get trips dropped with pay until satisfactorily completing your M+ duties on your next check??

M+ rots. Typical delta IT crap. I'm using HTML John Bell. Pretty sure it will be around for sometime. At least to my retirement anyway, after that I don't care what you use.

Hopefully that's coming soon. And yes, you can send a fight flight plan to M+ that is invented. Once we are fully transitioned, your LOE will use M+

I don't know man, it's a crappy app. They say it's best to "clear the blue" yet the "blue" is still glitchy and slow to clear. I could easily see a delay caused by M+ even with experienced M+ users.

I think the big delays will come from the M+ server issues. Those have been going on for over a year now and still aren't resolved. Something tells me they'll go live on M+ before they should.
