Well, he volunteered to do union work(thereby making him a volunteer wannabe) until he got turned down. maybe that accounts for some of the butthurt?

Did the chief pilot put a gun against your head and force you to become a LCA, or did you weigh the pro/cons and then decide using your free will to do the additional duty, knowing their was extra pay involved?

Either you are both volunteers, or no?

It’s not worth conversing with that guy. He’s a victim in his own head and no amount of facts or logic can breach his impenetrable armor of ignorance and victimhood. His view of himself as a victim has penetrated to the cellular level; it’s who he is now. Everything is an outrage and there’s no justice. Anyone who disagrees just wants him to die so they can take his seat.

When faced with actual facts, he simply ignores those posts and moves to another topic to screech about. He’s a bad faith poster and the fact that he’s a LCA is pathetic and embarrassing for this airline.

Claims to be a LCA on the A350 but supposedly lives in a house one step above a trailer that nobody here would ever think about living in. Clearly there’s something wrong with this guy, and I just hope one day he gets whatever help he needs. Until then, it’s pointless to respond to his impotent rants.

With the benefit of hind sight, but then why have an MEC? Or all votes could be roll call so they get the percentages right based on polling.

I'm a paid volunteer. Delta paid me a few years back to do EAA young eagles rides. The choice to work in an office in ATL is what I question. You couldn't pay me enough.

Isn't that exactly what they did regarding at least one of the inviolable 'pillars'?
