Not sure what you’re talking about. I was referring to the company using the set in stone FOM language to not follow through with our negotiated benefit of a the Captain allowing jump seaters to occupy the crew rest facility.

Exactly. And off topic, but I’ve never seen a passenger eating a day old Salmon Box Meal “Crew meals will be the same main course meal for the highest class of passenger service. If the passengers receive boxed meals for the flight, this is what crews will receive.” Does anyone even eat the salmon? I’ve thought about eating it every time and then calling in sick all of the following legs.
I guess I’m the weirdo. I like it and I find the salmon fresh and delicious. It’s actually probably my favorite meal which pleases my FO’s because they think like you so they get the other meal without any debate.

Same, it ain't that bad. Plus it's smoked (i.e. preserved), giving it a decent shelflife. I mean, sure I'd prefer fresh sushi, but would be far more concerned about spoilage.

Yeah I like the salmon too..and honestly if you're going to get sick you're more likely to get sick from fresh produce or fruit than smoked salmon.

Damn, wish I could find an FO who likes it. I always give them the choice and they never pick it. Two days in a row and they don’t get a choice. Had 5 meals for the crew today, 4 of them were salmon 🤢
