Well we won’t have to worry about the jumpseat thing anymore. Apparently a commuting pilot sitting in the jumpseat of an Alaskan Airline RJ tried to kill the engines. So kiss that benefit goodbye.

You can't be serious. This will not make the jumpseat go away. We don't even know what actually happened yet.

Agreed. I do so this potentially leading towards more psychological screening of pilots though.

“Alaskan” is a bit confusing. There are about 50 airlines based in AK.
One can find it even more confusing because Alaska Airlines does not have any RJs in their fleet.

Horizon Air would fit your post better, but only if you care of course.

Sorry, a year in law school strikes again!

Yeah, despite being an airline pilot, I don’t know much about airlines or airliners. Swing the gear, collect a paycheck.

Exactly. After 30 years don’t care the name of every corporate, military , or civilian airplane that we see or the info on every company and airline out there . Don’t care . Just let me be in peace and find all the good classic rock/Hits stations on the ADF .
