100%. I’ve clearly had my head in the sand. I’m lucky enough to live where these taxes don’t exist for most people.

You're right. But I've yet to see a proposal for a flat tax that accounts for non-W2 means of income (which are innumerable).

Crazy how things change, I think most property taxes in southern states were started to fund the Civil War and poor people didn’t own anything so it was only for the rich.
