I saw that mentioned recently too. I think some of the time they might be working to reduce the "expensive" flying. But most of the time the people wanting to "save" money and the people actually executing the decisions are different and those money saving goals are mostly ignored in the interest of just covering the flying in anyway possible.

It only pays 1.5x on the first day. 2x after that. Plus if it’s the last day, trip credit gets premium as well. Plus if you’re RRed past the limit, that’s a separate 2x calculation that is now additive and not offset by other RR pay.

I'm wondering if the 'rotations flown as built'-metric will start to affect bid packs. The quest for pre-month '0-credit', ending up at the end of the month with tons of broken trips, DHs, single-leg days and a lot of credit.
